Mixing, melting.
In sleepless nights
Those two minds
Were mixing, melting.
She was young
Thought she had the world
So lonely but so warm
In a place so cold
He, older than she,
Knew that the world had him
was not a happy person
but wanted a happy ending
Oh! You can't believe
How sweet the sound
Of those two tired hearts
When each ether they found.
When she saw him she thought
That he looked like a prince
With those big brown eyes
She just couldn't resist
When he looked at her he thought
She could benefit from time
She was beautiful and innocent
And had the necessity of crossing lines
And the days were passing faster
And she missed him all the time
She always wonder in which street
Their ways could find
And as the days were passing faster
He was thinking about her way
How was easy to talk to her
How we wanted her to stay.
And then they were trapped
In a world where that could be real
They just needed each ether
Like the stomach needs the meal
And all the time, the words, the music
Were necessary to their soul
So it was already too late
They just couldn't let it go
He had the strenght of a hero
Was more brave than a knight
The behavior of an adult
That had a hard time in life
She was the answer of his questions
Questions about love
She helped him to see
That all we need is hope
She was warm, sweet, tender
Had an unique mind
A girl that made him surrender
She was that rare kind
And then memories were made
Memories as sweet as cherries
And they keep reminding of each ether
Mixing chocolate and strawberries
And life became wonderfull
Dreams became reality
Little moments that by accident
Maybe were meant to be
She started to feel safe with him
He always broke through her confusion
He believed in her dreams
And saw in people like her a salvation
He didn't know what she expected from him
I think he was just like her afraid.
Of be not true
All the things they said.
And she was his friend.
And he was her friend
And all the beautiful histories
Shouldn't have an end.
So, I let you, that read this poem
Decide which will be their fate
It's just coincidence?
Are they soul mates?
Or are they just two strangers
Looking at the same place?
Will time be their enemy?
Will their friendship have an end?
Will distance be a problem
And that's why they are just friends?
One history is been written
About two different lifes
Two different times
That are mixing, melting.
In long, sleepless nights
Those two tired hearts
Were mixing, melting and fading.
They were just trying to prove
That love has a profusion
That it is the only thing real
In this life of illusion
Would it all
Be just an illusion?
